Illawarra International Health Precinct
The construction of the Illawarra International Health Precinct - the biggest private hospital in NSW is about to commence. The precinct will include 352 bed tertiary referral teaching hospital, Day procedure Centre, Pathology, Casualty/Hospital GP unit, Stand alone Obstetric unit, 280 bed aged care facility, Education facility and onsite student accommodation.
Stage 1 - Specialist and Surgicentre
The Surgicentre holds two licences - Day Procedure and Private Hospital. This stage offers a unique one off opportunity for medical practitioners to secure Strate titled ownership of professional suites and consulting rooms.
The design and modelling of this building and its synergistic links across the Precinct will allow Specialists and Allied Health Professionals to carry out the full extent of their discipline without leaving the site.
The Day surgery will consist of:
- 6 theatres
- 4 high dependency beds
- 4 ICU beds
- 20 recovery beds
- 2 recovery cots
- 44 Stage two chairs
- 10 overnight hospital beds
- rehabilitation unit
