Skiworld Sydney

SKIWORLD SYDNEY will be an all weather/all climate facility. Our rotating deck, will continuously pass through a snow chamber covering 40% of the slope, with temperatures of minus 10°C to minus 15°C.

In one hour of skiing into the on-coming snow, the skier can travel in excess of 20 kilometres over the snow, making this, the world’s longest continuous ski run. On reaching the bottom, skiers can merely remain stationary at the outer edge of the slope and be taken back to the top of the run. SKIWORLD SYDNEY will have a capacity of around 1200 skiers at any one time; around 6.5 million ski hours per year.

SKIWORLD SYDNEY will be the world's largest geodesic dome structure. Included in the ski dome are three ski slopes, a snowboard park with a capacity of 240 people, a snow play and tobogganing area, Middle Earth ice skating rink and free form lake, aquatic centre, Arctic Experience, luge and gondola rides and a range of support facilities including food and beverage outlets, accommodation, creche and gymnasium.

This Sydney ski dome facility will have a low carbon 'footprint'. Energy will be recycled and also used in the aquatic park.
